Sara Lin is a freelance journalist, wanderlust and a wicked cook. (She learned from her dad, more on that later.) She’s been a staffer at the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal and most recently was a founding editor of Honolulu Civil Beat, an online investigative news startup launched by eBay founder and philanthropist Pierre Omidyar. She is a graduate of Punahou School and Princeton University. When she’s not globetrotting, Sara lives in Hawaii where she likes to cook elaborate meals and play lots of tennis. She’s also an accomplished equestrian, pianist and cellist. She notes that her surfing skills, however, could use some work. Follow Sara on Twitter and Instagram.
